STUART MALCOLM SILK

Stuart Malcolm Silk

March 12, 143 - May 15, 2013

Stuart was a resident of Palm Desert, California.Stuart truly was an example of “A Celebration of Life”. A Celebration of Life is was held in his honor as friends and family met to toast and remember Stuart; once again raising their glasses and saying, L’Chayim – TO LIFE! He received his BA in business from the University of Missouri and served in the army reserves at Ft. Ord, CA. He pursued a career in publishing and advertising. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Wendy, two sons, three stepdaughters, one stepson, as well as a total of four granddaughters and nine grandsons.

As some of you know, Stuart didn’t graduate with our class in 1961, however, by his request and permission granted by our reunion leader, we have entered him into this U.City class of 1961 memorial website.

Paraphrasing him from an email he sent me on June 29th, 2011. I was one of the unlucky ones who had to change high schools my senior year. And although there were many ex U.City alum at Ladue. It never changed where my heart was. And still is. My request to you is rather simple. When the time comes, I would appreciate being added to the 1961 class memorial listing. I would rather be remembered as a part of where my true allegiances have always been.
