Darlene R. Sokol, died February 17, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Alvin P. Sokol. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Lawrence (Marianne) Schultz and Jodi (David) Portnoy. Esteemed step-mother of Sharon (Richard Lesses) Sokol and Deborah Schorzman. Loving grandmother of Albert and Evan Portnoy. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Edward (Sandra) Wise, Richard (Irene) Sokol, and David (the late Cheryl) Sokol. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Wise. From her first marriage to Roy Schultz, Darlene remained a dear daughter-in-law to the late Sonny (Pearl Dansker) Schultz and sister-in-law to Greg (Donna) Schultz. Devoted aunt, great aunt, cousin, and treasured friend to many. Mrs. Schultz/Sokol was also a lifelong teacher in the Pattonville School District where she taught hundreds of grade school students.
